Multicultural Yom Kippur Services
Please join us for our first Kanisse event — a multicultural and egalitarian Yom Kippur service for this year’s High Holidays. Our cantors will be leading prayers in a variety of traditions including those of the Syrian, Moroccan and Iraqi communities. We will be using our newly published Zemirot HaMizraḥ maḥzor, which will be provided for those attending the live event. It is also available for purchase or as a free PDF download. As with all of our offerings, we welcome everyone and invite participation. At the conclusion of Yom Kippur, a break-fast of Sephardic and Mizrahi hors d’oeuvres will be served.
